Gavin McKenna hat trick in Canada’s blowout win

After two wins in the first two games of the tournament over the Czech Republic and Latvia, Canada now face Denmark in what is by far their toughest challenge to date.

It didn't take long for the Canadiens to take the lead. Gavin McKenna needed just nine seconds on the power play to score his first goal of the tournament.

Michael Hage added another assist in the sequence.

The Canadiens scored twice more before the end of the period.

The third goal, scored by Zane Parekh, was assisted by Quebec's Caleb Denoyer.

In the second period, the Danes broke the ice.

Mads Kongsback Klivoe, the prospect I told you to beware of in Denmarkscored his first goal in the tournament.

The rest of the teams will have to show discipline in the match with Canada.

In a power game, a nation is too strong. Porter Martone gave his team a three-goal lead with a shot on goal.

Before the end of the period, Gavin McKenna showed the full extent of his talent by scoring with a wicked strike.

He's proving that he still deserves to be the No. 1 overall pick in the next draft.

McKenna scored the third goal in the 9-1 win. He now has seven points in three games since the start of the tournament.

His third goal was impressive.

The Canadiens allowed only 13 shots on target to the Danes.

In addition to McKenna, Martone, Michael Misa and Brady Martin also performed well, scoring three points each.
