Each week, Circana analyst Mat Piscatella shares data that reveals the top 15 games in the US by total weekly active users on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam. The lists are taken from Circana's player engagement tracker, and of course it tracks weekly active users, not concurrent users.
What were the most popular games for the week ending December 12? Fortnite took first place on PlayStation and Xbox, and Arc Raiders became the most popular game on Steam. These are the same results from last week, so nothing has changed at the top.
One of the most notable changes of the week was Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. On Steam, the game returned to the top 15, ranking 13th (up from 20th last week), and last week the game ranked 39th on Xbox (from 60th) and 53rd on PS5 (from 68th).
