Journalist Nick Shirley Shreds Tim Walz’s Desperate Bid to Sound Competent As Scandal Implodes – RedState

Freelance journalist Nick Shirley lit up the Internet last week with a video about Minnesota day care centers where he claimed he found no children but people who were unwilling to talk or answer questions. The full video is now approaching 100 million views, which is an amazing number. He even found one “training center” whose name was misspelled.

I think this number of views shows how concerned Americans are about this topic and how much they want it to be addressed.

The national attention may have even put Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz on the defensive because he made the post on Sunday, apparently to prove how big things are.

No. 8 for safety.
State number 5 for residence.
The state is No. 3 in terms of jobs.
The No. 2 state for starting a family and the No. 2 state for retiring.
We have made progress, but more remains to be done to ensure safety, opportunity and freedom for every Minnesotan. I won't stop fighting until we become No. 1.

He sees the FBI pouring more assets into the state to investigate cases, and even Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has said his agency is looking into reports of money allegedly going to terrorists. So Walz is trying to stay afloat while the scandal surrounding him is unfolding, but he's not doing a very good job.

Walz has had posts in the past about giving money to child care providers who are now not aging well.

Walz's new post was immediately inundated with great responses, including from Scott Presler.

Perhaps the best answer came from Nick Shirley himself, who completed Walz with just one line.

That's it. Although, to be fair, they need a similar immersion with California. But for now, Minnesota seems to hold the crown when we talk about estimates in the billions. And they're still unraveling things.

Walz, who is running for re-election, is giving voters every reason not to vote for him next November, and he probably knows how bad that looks for him. But it is this character whom the Democrats nominated as their candidate for vice president that shows how perverted they are.
