AU Deals: Big Games, Boxing Day Sales, Bad Financial Decisions, But Zero Regrets (Probably)

I told myself that I absolutely would not buy any more games at least five times this week, and yet here we are. What's dangerous about this batch is that games you already love suddenly seem like smart purchases. I've played most of them, I can vouch for them, and yes, my background is a crime scene.

This day in games 🎂

In retro news, it's time to hold on to our butts and celebrate the 32nd birthday of (arguably) the best Jurassic Park 90's game. My “SNES-owning friend” who lived across the street from me had one. We spent hours admiring the film's title, which was far better than it had any right to be ( Wolfenstein 3D Sections were particularly ambitious with regard to hardware).

After decades of careful consideration, I have decided not to not support your park, Ocean.

  • Donkey Kong Bananza (-19%) AUD 89 A loud, colorful platformer that seems designed to make you smile despite yourself.
  • Immortals Fenyx Rising Gold Ed. (-85%) AUD 13.40 A breath of wild energy with dad jokes, Greek gods and surprisingly strong fights.
