- Beelink ME Pro supports up to 84 TB through a combination of HDDs and SSD.
- The system allows users to easily replace processors, memory and motherboards.
- Two-bay and four-bay configurations keep the NAS compact while providing plenty of storage.
Beelink has expanded its hardware line with ME Pro, a modular storage system that marks a departure from its earlier compact computing products.
This device is a portable NAS which is designed for users who need higher storage densities without moving to traditional rack-mount systems.
Beelink ME Pro comes with Intel N-series processors, including the Alder Lake-N based N95 and the newer N150 from the Twin Lake family.
Modular design and platform flexibility
The company said it plans to release additional models, with future variants expected to include higher-end Intel chips along with boards using AMD or Hand– based on silicon.
Instead of locking buyers into one platform, the system uses a removable motherboard that users can swap out without having to replace the entire case.
The modular design is based on a drawer at the base of the case that houses the motherboard and CPUmemory, storage, cooling components and wireless equipment.
This approach allows users to adjust performance over time, whether they prioritize processing throughput or focus on lower power consumption.
Beelink also said that the storage layout may vary between boards, with some versions offering two M.2 slots and others three, depending on the intended use case.
ME Pro supports two or four 3.5-inch hard drives, with both versions designed to remain relatively compact compared to conventional storage devices.
The two-bay configuration measures 166 x 121 x 112 mm, while the four-bay model increases to 166 x 166 x 146 mm.
In maximum configurations, the system can reportedly support two 30TB HDDs and three 8TB SSDs, bringing the total capacity to 84TB.
Connectivity options include 5GbE and 2.5GbE Ethernet ports, multiple USB interfaces, HDMI output, and a standard DC power input.
These specs point to a device built for mixed workloads, operating like a NAS while retaining the performance typically found in compact desktop systems.
With a starting price of $369, Beelink ME Pro comes to market lower than similar devices such as Terramaster F8 SSD plus NASwhich starts at $639, and Aiffro K100 SSD NASstarting at $449.
The concept of a small, upgradeable storage system that combines elements of a mini-PC and a flexible NAS is attractive, although its success will depend on performance and usability in the real world.
The device is already on sale through Beelink official store and delivers worldwide.
