Chicago Bears suffered a tough loss to the San Francisco 49ers, 42–38, in one of the best games of the NFL season. Unfortunately, Chicago was unable to emerge from the game unscathed as rookie wide receiver Luther Bearden III was injured on the final play of the game.
Burden suffered an apparent injury to his left leg on BearsThe final game as they attempted to complete their seventh fourth quarter comeback of the season. Unfortunately, the comeback attempt failed and Chicago lost Burden.

With Rome Odunze out of the game, Burden became Williams' top receiver and he did not disappoint. After missing last week's game with an ankle injury, Bearden returned and had a career-high eight catches for 138 yards and one touchdown against the 49ers. He played a key role in the offensive output.
Luther Burden Injury Update
Burden suffered an apparent injury to his left leg on the game's final play when quarterback Caleb Williams attempted to pass him on fourth-and-4 with the game on the line. Burden attempted to walk off the field but fell to the ground. After attempting to leave the field, Burden was taken to the locker room by trainers. According to ESPN's Courtney CroninBearden was seen clutching his left hamstring while heading for an X-ray after the game at Levi's Stadium.
What Ben Jonson Said About Luther Bearden's Injury
Head coach Ben Johnson will meet with the media shortly after the Bears' loss to the 49ers. We'll see if he provides any real information about Burden's leg injury so quickly after it happened.
