- Miles is a threat. Garrett has sacked Steelers defensive backs five times in Cleveland's last two home games against Pittsburgh. “He's a game-breaker,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said of Garrett earlier this week. “It creates a wave for others to ride, especially in an environment where you're working on silent counting, one-dimensional circumstances of passing, etc. That's important.”
- No DC. The Steelers will be without their leading receiver. DK Metcalfe in this game after the NFL suspended him for two games due to an altercation with a player Lions fan during Pittsburgh's Week 16 win in Detroit. Tomlin specifically mentioned Roman Wilson there's someone he hopes will step up to help in Metcalf's absence. A 2024 third-round pick, Wilson has 12 catches and two touchdowns this season, but his role has diminished with the recent addition Adam Thielen And Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
- More Mason? If Baltimore loses on Saturday night, there's a good chance Mason Rudolph will either start or get significant reps on Sunday in Cleveland. Rudolph has already started (and lost) two games in Cleveland: in 2019 and in the final game of the 2020 season. In a later game, he threw for a career-high 315 yards in a 24–22 loss.
- Cleveland is not like Pittsburgh. Cleveland has been a home of horrors for the Steelers lately. Since 2018, the Steelers are just 1-5-1 in Cleveland, including three straight losses. Tomlin, when asked what often led to his team's struggles in Cleveland, answered simply: “Myles Garrett.”
- Sheder's sixth start. Sunday will be Sheader Sanders» an introduction to one of the oldest rivalries in the NFL. Sanders' first five starts produced mixed results. Despite showing his potential, Sanders is still completing just 55.1% of his passes, with more interceptions (8) than touchdown passes (6).

Statistically, the Browns have the best defense in the NFC North, led by veteran defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz.
