David Spade clears the air when it comes to his long-standing feud with Eddie Murphywhich appears to have recently come to an end after, according to David, 25 years of simmering tension.
Let's go back to 1995 when Eddie came under fire. Vampire in Brooklyn just saw the release in multiplexes. Eddie has made it very clear in recent years that he No happy with David's joke. “It was weird to go from being a superfan overnight to him hating me and trying to win him back for the last 25 years,” he said. “We had a few bumps in the road early on. Weekend updateon SNLnew to the show, he was making fun of all the celebrities and I made fun of him and it didn't go well.”
David said that after the joke was told, Eddie called him personally and the pair “sorted it out.” “In fact, He got out,” David explained. “I didn’t really resist.” Because I felt a little guilty about it. And he did make some sense, I just didn’t like it because he was a hero.”
David then said that he had seen Eddie “once or twice” since then, including SNL50th anniversary celebration. “We talked a little and everything was fine. And then they asked him about it, and he said: “Yes, we are fine.” So yes, we are doing well.”
