Toronto Argonauts adding Pennsylvania high school coach to staff

It looks like another member of the Toronto Argonauts coaching staff has stepped into place.

Earlier this week, Colin Ho, head coach at Kiski Area High School in Leechburg, Pa. announced his resignation on social networksdeclaring that he had accepted a position at Argos. It is unclear what position he will occupy on the staff and what side of the ball he will coach on.

Ho already has an established relationship with newly hired Argos head coach Mike Miller, who served as the defensive line coach at Robert Morris University in 2006. Ho was a senior for the Colonials that season, making 48 tackles, eight tackles for loss, five sacks and a blocked kick to earn second-team all-conference honors.

The Murrysville, Pennsylvania native began his coaching career the following year as an assistant and later took the reins as defensive line coach. In 2010, he was hired for the same position at the University of St. Francis and remained there for five seasons before moving to the offensive side of the ball at Westminster College, where he coached the offensive line for five years. He reunited with Miller in 2018 when he became the Titans' defensive coordinator and defensive line coach.

Ho was named the Titans' defensive coordinator and associate head coach in 2019 when Miller moved into an offensive consultant role. He returned to offensive coordinator and offensive line coach in 2022 and joined Western Pennsylvania University in Edinboro in 2024 as offensive line coach and run game coordinator.

Since taking over Kiski Area in 2025, Ho led the team to a 4–7 record and lost in the first round of the playoffs.

Miller was On December 2, he was appointed head coach of the Argonauts. after previously serving as a defensive backs coach. He will serve as his own offensive coordinator and Greg Quick is expected to be announced as the team's defensive coordinator.although the rest of its employees have not yet been reported.

The Argonauts finished third in the East Division standings in 2025 with a 5–13 record, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2019. Chad Kelly was unable to play the entire season due to a broken leg he suffered in the 2024 Eastern Division finals. Nick Arbuckle threw for 4,370 yards, 26 touchdowns and 15 interceptions to be named the team's Most Outstanding Player.

Toronto ranked seventh in net offense, sixth in net defense and seventh in turnover differential of minus-eight. The team's leading rusher was Spencer Brown with 314 yards, the leading receiver was Dejon Brissett with 907 yards, and the leading tackler was Cameron Judge with 79 tackles. The Argos ranked ninth in attendance with an average of 15,109 fans at BMO Field, down 0.1 percent from the previous year.
