Travis Kelsey made three of his five catches on the Kansas City Chiefs' final drive against the Denver Broncos, but the team couldn't do enough to win the game.
Kelsey, in what could have been his last game at Arrowhead Stadium He had five catches for 36 yards before potentially calling it quits. Denver won the game 20–13.
The tight end tossed his gloves to the crowd as he headed back to the locker room.

Kansas City offense It was pretty rotten all night, but the game came to an end.
The Chiefs were awarded their first penalty of the night at the worst possible time. The Broncos lined up to punt on 4th-and-2 from the Kansas City 9-yard line. What Chiefs defensive lineman Bo Nix called signals. Chris Jones committed a penalty while offside. This gave the Broncos a new streak of failure and a chance to plunge a dagger into the hearts of Chiefs fans.
The Knicks found RJ Harvey for the go-ahead score with 1:45 left in the game. He turned out to be the winner of the game.
Second year Broncos Quarterback finished 26 of 38 with 182 yards passing and a touchdown pass to Harvey. The lone interception resulted in a Chiefs touchdown.
Chiefs quarterback Chris Oladokun had 66 passing yards on three completions. He threw a touchdown pass to Brashard Smith.

Kansas City had just 139 yards of total offense. By the end of the game, the focus was on Kelsey.

Retirement rumors have swirled around Kelsey since last year. But as the year progressed, the situation intensified as his production no longer looked the same as in previous years. He spoke with former NFL star Tony Gonzalez about his upcoming decision.

“I think I'm still looking for those answers. I think obviously the way this issue ended with a sour taste in my mouth, I feel motivated, but I have to make the right decision for myself,” he told Gonzalez. “I have to hope that, you know, if I really want to come back, the Chiefs will want me back.
“So it’s a two-way street, but at the same time, man, at this point this year I’m just trying to finish and give Chiefs Kingdom everything I have and go out there and do it with some of the talent that you said I play with.”
