With 2 weeks to go, are the Buffalo Bills set for a festive postseason?

It's the holiday season, which, aside from the Christmas music playing in every stone building you enter, is also the point in the NFL season when postseason dreams become reality for just over half the league's teams.

Once again, the Buffalo Bills make the playoffs by punching their ticket after the Indianapolis Colts lost to end Week 16. At 11-4, the Bills still feel like they have yet to play their best football – and with the postseason starting in a couple of weeks, the hope is that One Bills Drive will focus on pushing teams to their limits and playing their best football of the season.

Despite Buffalo's overall success this season, a large number of Bills Mafia players had conflicting opinions regarding the 2025 roster. It's been clear all season that the credibility of these polls is more likely to trend lower than not, simply because everyone has a microscope to analyze and decide what's troubling about the bills. This is not about the near or immediate future. Rather, we are talking about the postseason, which is now just around the corner.

Bills fans will need to see how the team performs in the postseason before they are ready to fully believe that Buffalo is heading in the right direction. This is understandable, but at the same time it prevents some people from seeing important trees in a large forest.

The Bills boast the best rushing attack in the NFL and their passing defense ranks second in the league. Those are two great metrics to be at or near the top, and they get even better when Josh Allen is the quarterback of the offense. As for running back James Cook III, he could very well be the key to Buffalo getting past the roadblock in the AFC Championship Game. Cook leads the NFL in rushing yards and has developed into one of the team's key leaders during his playing days.

So, are you still in “wait and see” mode regarding confidence in the direction of these Buffalo Bills?
