Earlier today, my colleague Charles-Alexis Brisebois reported in an article that Lane Hutson was at the outdoor skating rink. yesterday to have fun with fans.
That's when you will see that his priorities are set correctly. He will never compete for the big prize, although his talent could certainly allow him to do so.
We know Hutson eats hockey, but we're starting to get to know Ivan Demidov a little better.
Well, the young Russian also took the opportunity to stretch his legs on December 25th.
Demidov joined his teammate at the outdoor rink (the Blue Blanc Bouge skating rink, to be exact) to spend some time with the fans at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.
Lane Hutson and Ivan Demidov returned to the ice on Christmas Day at the Bleu Blanc Bouge Rink in NDG. The future of the Canadiens is in good hands.

It's impossible to keep these two guys off the ice. They eat hockey and are good at it.
It's true chill to see two young Montreal Canadiens stars spending time with children and fans at Christmas. What a great gift.
As Anthony Marcotte points out, they do have their priorities right and will never play for money, but purely out of passion.
These two young men have the right values. Money will never be their priority. This is what we call playing sports for the right reasons. Nice to see!

Not only is it great to see them do it on December 25th, but it's even more encouraging for the future Habs to see that passion in them.
This will help them have a great career because even though they are overflowing with talent and already very successful, they always want to improve and fine-tune the little details. They could (very soon) be among the NHL's elite and perhaps even become franchise players.
One thing is for sure: Montreal's future is (very) bright with these two young players in the organization.
