The number of computer manufacturers is growing. introduced systems based on the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor – and although there are few laptops, most of them mini pc – now the new Tank M1A Pro+ joins the Acemagic company.
The company demonstrated a compact desktop computer at Weibowith early material showcasing Acemagic's familiar dark style, with one mentioning a “silver demon tank”.
Small enough to fit in a backpack, it has the same style as the Tank 03 mini PC that's in our 2024 review we said it was “an excellent choice for those who prioritize performance and versatility in a compact format.”
Up to 24 TB of storage
AMDThe APU architecture combines CPU, GPU and NPU elements in a single package. It delivers 126 TOPS of AI compute, and the integrated Radeon 8060S graphics can achieve performance levels comparable to an RTX 4070M laptop, depending on the workload and thermal headroom available in the form factor.
The mini PC includes 128GB of LPDDR5X 8000MHz memory and three M.2 PCIe4.0 slots. Acemagic mentions a 12TB limit, although the physical layout supports capacity expansion, up to 24TB if you opt for 8TB drives.
The SD card slot supports fast file transfers, and the port selection is wide enough to accommodate multiple high-speed peripherals and modern networking standards, including WiFi 7.
The device can operate in four 8K is displayed immediately. Like its predecessor, the three-mode switch adjusts power limits and temperature characteristics, allowing users to switch between quieter operation and full performance without diving into software menus.
Although the design has a sci-fi feel with lighting elements and angular lines, the Tank M1A Pro+ is positioned as a practical compact desktop for users who want powerful AI features and plenty of storage in a small package.
There's no word yet on when it will be released or global availability, but it should happen very soon. We have requested the property for inspection.
