Kate Middleton Proves the Plaid Coat and Suede Boots Combo Is Unmatched For Winter 2026

Kate Middleton The latest fashion success is founded by none other than a couple suede boots and a checkered coat.

Traditionally, every December 25th British royal family attended the Christmas service at Sandringham, an event that always ends at the family estate with a dinner given by the king and queen. Kate Middleton and Prince William and their children George, LouisAnd Charlotte led (of course) the procession to the church, providing yet another opportunity to admire the Princess of Wales' impeccable style.

For the occasion, she chose a structured brown tartan coat from the Italian brand. Blase MilanDouble-breasted, with ties at the waist to further highlight her silhouette. She completed the look with a plaid skirt peeking out slightly from under her coat, brown suede heeled boots, a patterned scarf around her neck and gloves that matched the color palette. Her long honey blonde hair was elegantly accessorized with a clip, giving her a regal look that was perfect for the event.

But beyond that winning pairing of suede boots and a plaid coat – two must-haves for autumn/winter 2025/26 – there's more to a royal Christmas than just style. The Windsor family often shares moments during this time of year that reflect their warmth and naturalness.
