Cowboys’ Cooper Beebe calls out Chargers social media team

A Dallas Cowboys An offensive lineman expressed his displeasure with the Los Angeles Chargers on social media after a controversial post involving him.

Cooper Beebe, the Cowboys' starting center, shouted: Chargers after Sunday's loss at AT&T Stadium for beeping his phone, which he felt made him look “racist” to football fans.

Beebe was pointing at Chargers linebacker Diane Henley and calling the line, likely to help his teammates figure out who to block. But the Chargers' social team, the creative team, went too far for the Beebe.

“Literally said 'Hole R'? This is our choice against Abby,” Beebe said. “Imagine me shouting out what I said to appear racist. You guys are POS @chargers,” Beebe quoted the Chargers video as saying on Twitter.

The Chargers captioned their post “lol instant karma” after Henley asked Beebe if he said his name. Beebe was then called out for a false start, which Henley believed was instant karma, hence the caption.

Since the Beebe's post went viral, it and the original Chargers video have been removed from X.

Fox News Digital has reached out to the Chargers for comment.

Tensions are high for every team this time of year, whether it's a team like the Chargers in the middle of the playoffs or the Cowboys hoping to finish strong despite slim odds of winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

With the win over the Cowboys and the Indianapolis Colts' loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night, the Chargers have earned a playoff berth with a chance to win the AFC West given their Week 18 regular-season finale is against the Denver Broncos.

However, the Broncos can win the division if they beat the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day.

The Cowboys are eliminated after going 6-8-1 to date. They also play on Christmas Day against Washington commandersand quarterback Dak Prescott and company hope to finish the season strong.

Beebe is in his second year as the Cowboys' full-time center. He was a third-round pick (73rd overall) in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Kansas State.
