Pat Finn, the actor best known for his roles on Seinfeld and The Average, has died.
Finn died Dec. 22 at age 60 from cancer, his family confirmed in a statement to TODAY.com.
“After a wonderful life filled with laughter, love, family and friends, we share the heartbreaking news of the death of Pat Finn. Pat bravely battled cancer over the past several years,” the family said in a statement.
“We know there will be quite a party in heaven with the arrival of Pat Finn,” he continued.
Finn's loved ones said he “showed his greatest signs” in his “final days” when the Chicago Bears scored a touchdown.
“No pressure, the Bears just say do it for Pat,” they joked in a statement, adding, “His life and legacy will continue through his beautiful family, including his wife Donna and three children, Cassidy, Caitlin and Ryan, and the thousands of friends and family he influenced.”
