As a long-time reader and game lover, Tiny bookstore it really feels like it was handmade just for me. It's the pinnacle of what a cozy game should be, focusing on running a small, customizable seaside bookstore and seamlessly developing a storyline that moves through the seasons and features a cute cast of quirky characters.

It's a calm, thoughtful, and deeply comforting experience that encourages you to slow down and enjoy the simple joy of books and community. You can play through it at your own pace, making it the perfect game to enjoy no matter what mood you're in. This game has filled my heart with joy and has put more books on my reading list than I can reasonably handle, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Date with everything! it's without a doubt the best dating sim I've ever played and one of my standout cozy games of 2025. This sandbox-style experience is a true love letter to art and creativity, containing more 100 unique characters brought to life by an impressively talented voice cast and bright, memorable design.

Witty, charming and endlessly captivating, he fully and confidently executes his absurd premise, transforming everyday objects into unforgettable characters and stories you can't help but fall in love with. It's safe to say that there really is nothing like it and it will provide an unforgettable experience.

It's time to move straight to classic money management using Museum of two points. Two points The series is well known in the casual gaming community for being strange but surprisingly fun, and Museum of two points is no exception. If you played Two Point Hospital or Campus in the past you will understand exactly what I am talking about.

Museum of two points manages to take things to the next level with a combination of quirky humor, slick graphics, and satisfying gameplay that goes beyond just arranging rooms and watching your money grow. It takes everything that was done in the past Two points great games and takes them further, establishing itself as one of the greatest tycoon games released in the last few years.

Hello Kitty: Island Adventures

I still remember my first hour of playing Hello Kitty: Island Adventures earlier this year. Since 2024 has been a strange year for me, I started 2025 feeling happier than ever knowing that we are starting with a game that is still near and dear to my heart.

Even if you're not a Sanrio fan, there's still a lot to love here: a huge open world to explore, plenty of quests to complete, and a deep, rewarding friendship system. If you're looking for a cozy game absolutely full of content, Hello Kitty: Island Adventures will be right up your alley.

City to city

I confess: I love voxel graphics. It's rare that a voxel game looks truly beautiful, but if there's a game that does it flawlessly, it's City to city. Made by the development team Station by station, City to city masterfully combines a sense of relaxation with a unique approach to city building, resulting in one of the most interesting games to come out this year.

City builders can generally feel stressed, especially if you have trouble managing resources or are prone to mini-maxing. City to city gives you a choice: take on the challenge of building a city in the game's campaign mode, or go into Sandbox mode and put all your energy into creating a bustling settlement. It creates the perfect balance of cozy and sophisticated, while immersing you in the beautiful art style and landscapes. If you are a fan Station by station or want to try a more conventional city builder, this is the option for you.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time

There are two sides Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time coin. For those who played the original fantasy life On 3DS, it's a trip down memory lane with vastly improved graphics, updated dungeon mechanics, and refined controls that give the game a modern feel. For the rest of us, it's a fantastic dive into a classic JRPG full of fun combat, unique skill mechanics, and multiplayer options for wacky shenanigans with friends.

Of all the entries on this list, fantasy life i this is the title I devoted the most time to. The main storyline is deep and lasts for dozens of hours, and fellow completionists have over 100 hours of skill honing, dungeon crawling, and open world exploration to conquer. It's a delightful and charming game that I couldn't put down for the first few weeks of playing it, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to any classic RPG fan who thrives on mastering life skill systems.

Make a Room

2025 is the year of creativity in our games. Make a Room be another one who steals everyone's attention. The goal of this game is to unleash your interior design skills by taking pieces of furniture, changing their colors and arranging them into dioramas. You can do anything from cottage-style kitchens to game rooms, cafes or even a place for pets.

Although Make a Room Mainly engaged in interior design, here you can do almost anything your heart desires. It allows you to recolor and resize furniture, resize rooms, and even recolor the map background, giving you more options than just mindlessly arranging furniture. Combine this with a charming, cartoonish art style and you've got a game that you can spend hours playing if you're feeling particularly creative. This has quickly become my favorite game, especially when I'm in the mood to recreate rooms from a TV show I recently watched or places I've seen in real life.

Cast n Chill

Let's make a difference through fishing. If you're like me, you have at least a few games that you enjoy just because they have a fun fishing mini-game. This is not just a mini-game, Cast n Chill it's all about you and your pet dog boating, fishing and earning a lot of money. Plus, it's a stunning game with detailed pixel graphics and impressive scenery straight out of a wilderness adventure.

Turn? It is both an active and idle game. If you want to dive headfirst into learning how to fish, you can take a more active approach, master the mechanics, and reap the rewards. However, sometimes it's nice to enjoy your surroundings by taking a passive approach and letting the game happen. Of the many fishing minigames and full games I've played, Cast n Chill is up there as one of my favorites of all time.

Gemporium

If you're tired of fishing, cooking, and fighting, mining might be for you. Gemporium is a short but fun game where you play as a mole who has recently inherited his grandmother's gem business. However, it turns out that she has serious debts, and you will have to pay them off by taking over ownership, collecting gems and selling them to groups of clients.

While it may sound like just another store simulation game, it offers a great mix of strategy and fun without causing stress or chaos. Like others on this list, you can go at your own pace and either speed up your run while paying off Granny's debt, or take your time and treat it as a relaxing hidden gem in the cozy gaming genre.

Winter hole

And last but not least: Winter holea survival game with an emphasis on exploration and resource management. Although it does have some strong initial similarities to titles like Don't starveDon't let its art style fool you – it delivers a completely distinct and engaging game that isn't brutal and merciless in nature, but rather an enjoyable and comforting experience.

Winter hole combines complex survival mechanics with a compelling narrative that is enjoyable without being boring or stressful. It calls itself a cozy survival game, and it proves it by allowing you to sit back and enjoy its story without showing up at monster camps or starving to death every few minutes. This is one of my favorite survival games to date, making it a strong contender for one of the best cozy games released this year.
