Happy Holidays from GamesIndustry.biz | GamesIndustry.biz

Program Note: We are currently completing work through 2026. There will be some new articles on the site over the festive period along with a few repeats, and there will be a couple of newsletters to cover them – but otherwise GamesIndustry.biz the team has knocked down the instruments by 2025.

Thank you for joining us. It's been another challenging 12 months for the industry, once again marked by layoffs, consolidation and uncertainty, but there have also been huge and deserved gains as teams large and small adapt to the new status quo.

Such as? We're glad you asked and have prepared some useful links as we put together our Year in Review.

We'll be back in January to see what 2026 has in store for the industry. Twelve months ago, the year ended with the mantra “make it to 25” as the industry experienced unprecedented layoffs and layoffs. For those who did, a year eerily similar to the previous one awaited them.

We'll be trying a few new things ourselves next year, which we'll tell you more about in January, but we'll continue to tell the most important stories and share ideas that will serve the industry. Thanks for reading and have a nice holiday.
