Venus Williams married actor and model Andrea Preti, a tennis great, over the weekend. announced on Tuesday on social networks.
Williams, 45, and Preti tied the knot in Palm Beach, Florida, after a five-day celebration attended by family and close friends. The couple also held an informal ceremony in Italy earlier this year.
According to IMDb, Preti is an Italian actor and model of Danish origin. The couple met during Milan Fashion Week in 2024 and got engaged in January 2025.
Williams first mentioned Preti publicly in July while attending the DC Open, where she became the second oldest woman of the Open Era win a tour level singles match. After the win, Williams thanked her fiancé, who was in the stands during the on-court interview.

The wedding comes as Williams continues to extend one of the longest careers in professional tennis history. She didn't play tournaments for 16 months before returning to Washington and said that plans to play for the 33rd consecutive season on the WTA Tour, which begins in Auckland in January.
Williams is a seven-time Grand Slam singles champion and former world number one. Outside of tennis, she remains a prominent figure in fashion and culture. Earlier this month it was announced that Williams will co-chair the 2026 Met Gala. along with Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
The couple's Palm Beach wedding followed several days of events, including a private ceremony at the courthouse on Friday morning and a larger celebration on Saturday, according to Vogue, which first reported details of the wedding festivities.
Williams has not announced any changes to her competitive schedule since the wedding.
