Gaming accessories brand CRKD has announced two new models of the upcoming Nitro Deck 2, including one limited-edition collaboration variant, as well as some exciting pre-order bonuses for buyers of any version.
While you may have missed this wave of news surrounding The Game Awards 2025, Nitro Deck 2 was officially announced earlier this month. It's the sequel to one of the most best accessories for Nintendo Switch redesigned for new Nintendo Switch 2.
Part portable dock, part controller, it's a complete replacement for the Joy-Con 2, designed to elevate portable gaming with more comfortable grips and improved joysticks. The original model received a rare five out of five rating from us in our Nitro Deck Reviewand hardware editor Reece Wood called it “an essential accessory for the Nintendo Switch.”
I've been using it for years and am looking forward to the updated version for the latest Nintendo system and can't wait to get my hands on it when it finally releases in Spring (US and UK) 2026.
Buyers now have two new options to consider when placing pre-orders: a special Fusion Limited Edition, created in collaboration with Limited Run Games, and a retro-themed Pal Gray Edition.
The Fusion Limited Edition comes in a cool two-tone colorway with half the accessory being an icy clear blue and the other half a shimmering clear purple. This model is exclusive to Limited Run Games and the CRKD websites and will not be available after the pre-order window closes on March 29, 2026.
The Pal Gray Edition is based on the iconic gray color scheme of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, which was distributed in the PAL region (including Europe).

On top of that, anyone who has already pre-ordered or will do so in the future will receive exclusive freebies.
It comes in the form of a Nitro Deck 2 signature microfiber pin and a Nitro Deck 2 Early Supporter Collector Pin. Nice one!
