Hisense unveils two 4K laser projectors — a 300-inch beast with huge brightness, plus the sequel to the best ultra short throw projector

  • Hisense introduces two new 4K TriChroma laser projectors with up to 6000:1 contrast ratio
  • The Hisense XR10 can handle up to 300 inches diagonal and up to 6000 ANSI lumens.
  • The Hisense PX4-Pro is the sequel to our favorite ultra-short throw projector.

It's been 11 years since then Hisense launched its first laser projector and six since introducing the TriChroma Laser TV system. And now the company has introduced two brand new laser projectors with the latest generation technology: the XR10 and PX4-Pro.

The XR10 is exceptionally bright, delivering a whopping 6,000 ANSI lumens of brightness, allowing it to shine even in very well-lit rooms. It features 16 all-glass lenses for better light transmission and temperature stability, and a new IRIS system that automatically adjusts the lens's aperture and exposure to changes in lighting conditions. Contrast ratio is a claimed 6000:1, and the XR10 has a “significantly expanded” BT.2020 color gamut.
