Retro 87 was released in January along with the similar Retro mouse R8which is on sale on Amazon for just $48 (was $60). The wireless mouse comes with a magnetic charging dock.
To complement your transparent green collection, you can choose a matching version 8BitDo Ultimate 3-mode controller for 50 dollars (was 70 dollars). The transparent green 3-mode Ultimate controller works wirelessly on PC and mobile devices, but only supports wired play on Xbox consoles. It's worth noting that there is an Ultimate 3-Mode Controller version that can sync wirelessly with the Xbox: Rare 40th Anniversary Edition. Launched in August, the attractive special edition controller comes complete with a matching charging dock and on sale for $72 (was $90) on Amazon.

The Retro 87 uses UV-coated ABS keycaps and clear Kailh Jellyfish X switches that sound and feel great, especially if you like clicky keyboards. Kailh box switches are dust and splash resistant and provide a stable and predictable typing experience. The Retro 87 features customizable RGB lighting with eight unique lighting modes. Like all other 8BitDo keyboards, the Retro 87 features a hot-swappable PCB and a removable Super Button module. The two large microswitch buttons can be remapped on the fly, and the Retro 87's Super Button module body is also translucent green.
The Xbox Guide button opens the Xbox menu overlay on PC. The four arrow keys match the colors of the face buttons on official Xbox controllers (green, red, blue, and yellow). You can customize keyboard shortcuts, create macros, and work with RGB lighting effects with 8BitDo's Ultimate Software V2 on PC, Mac, and mobile devices.
Retro 87 runs on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Steam Deck, Asus ROG Xbox Allyand other devices. You can sync your devices wirelessly via 2.4GHz or Bluetooth; The keyboard also comes with a green, detachable USB-C charging cable that can be used in wired mode. The Retro R8 features a reversible design with four additional programmable buttons – two on each side of the mouse. Like the Retro 87's directional keys, the extra buttons match the colors of the Xbox controller's face buttons. The Retro R8 features Kailh Sword GM X microswitches, a 26K DPI PAW 3395 optical sensor, and six different sensitivity levels. You can adjust DPI and other settings using Ultimate Software V2.
The mouse can sync with PC, Mac and Android devices via Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless with the included dongle. The USB-A dongle can be stored either in the mouse itself or in the included magnetic charging dock. If you prefer a wired connection, the Retro R8, like the keyboard, comes with a green USB-C cable for charging and wired mode. The mouse can also be charged directly, so you don't have to take the docking station with you when you're away from your desk.
