The legendary battle of World War II awaits you in Enlisted
Gaijin Entertainment and Darkflow Software have released the Far Eastern Front content update for Enrolledpresenting an important new chapter inspired by the final stages of World War II. This update focuses on the clash between the Soviet Union and Japan, recreating the historical confrontation with the formidable Kwantung Army, which numbered approximately 700,000 soldiers. Players can now experience one of the least explored theaters of war, participating in large-scale infantry and vehicle battles.
The update adds the location of Heilongjiang, a battlefield shaped by the geography of northeastern China. Rolling hills, traditional rural settlements and dense urban areas define the area. Japanese forces established heavily fortified defensive lines throughout the region, forcing Soviet forces to launch coordinated attacks. At the center of the map lies a large city, reflecting the cultural interweaving of the era. Stone buildings, wide streets and Cyrillic signs juxtapose with elements of Chinese architecture, creating an atmosphere rooted in historical details.
The Far Eastern Front also expands Enlisted's arsenal with several notable weapons. New items include the Chinese Type 88 rifle, the Italian KE7 machine gun and the American Browning M1919A4. Japanese forces gained access to an experimental Type 2 assault rifle chambered in 6.5 mm, known for its extremely high rate of fire. Heavy firepower is provided by the German Ferdinand self-propelled gun, built on the Tiger P chassis and equipped with a powerful 88 mm PaK 43/2 cannon and exceptionally thick frontal armor.
In addition to new content, the update improves battlefield immersion. Explosions from grenades, mortars and anti-tank weapons now leave visible craters in the ground. Vehicles show heated metal after a long fire, and the destruction of paper and wooden objects is accompanied by enhanced visual effects. Together, these changes make combat feel more dynamic and grounded in each encounter.
