Hunter Biden told podcaster Sean Ryan in an interview aired Monday that former Republican New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani “cooked up” the laptop that was the subject of an October 2020 New York Post report.
Twitter locked multiple accounts, including the New York Post and then-White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany's personal account for sharing the bombshell report about emails from a laptop Biden reportedly left at a computer repair shop in Delaware. “What I can tell you about the laptop is that there is no laptop. This is nonsense. What was provided there, what the…” Biden said, as Ryan asked, “There was no damn laptop?”

“There is an actual physical laptop that somebody had, but the guy who had it, who said he had a laptop, the search for the laptop began before he even had a glimpse of Rudy Giuliani,” Biden said. “There were people, talk to Lev Parnas. Lev Parnas literally went to Ukraine to get a laptop from Dmitry Firtash, to get a hard drive, Hunter Biden's hard drive from Dmitry Firtash and Andrei Derkach, in Ukraine, in Austria, four months before John Paul Mac Isaac ever… existed. And so what they did was slap them together. [a] a stolen, fabricated, fabricated hodgepodge of digital information, basically, you know, thousands and thousands and thousands of emails… over 25 years. I mean, no laptop could fit it all.”

Delaware jury convicted Biden in June 2024 on three criminal firearms charges stemming from the 2018 purchase of a Colt .38-caliber revolver. Biden entered guilty plea to federal tax charges in September 2024, shortly before his trial was set to begin, but his father, then-President Joe Biden, pardoned its December 1, 2024
