The latest generation of Apple's ubiquitous headphones, released in September to much fanfare, promised a more secure fit thanks to redesigned designs, vastly improved noise cancellation and better sound quality.
I've been using the Pro 3 for the past few months, and since I previously used the AirPods Pro 2, Apple has certainly hit the mark with the latest set. They're fantastic – I can't recommend them enough for iPhone owners who want a pair of headphones with amazing sound that also offer a smooth connection and lots of great extra features.

AirPods Pro have always been known for their sound quality, and Apple has made every effort to deliver the best audio experience of the third generation. Bass performance is a definite step up from its predecessor, and even with Spatial Audio turned off, I still feel like the Pro 3s create a three-dimensional sound field where every element of the track is given its place to shine.
I also like the updated design. I never thought the Pro 2 was poorly designed and they actually fit snugly around your ears. But if you compare them side by side with the newer model, the difference is clear: the Pro 3 fits very well in the ear canal, and given that they come with a variety of ear tip sizes, I can't see anyone having trouble finding the most secure fit for them.
I've seen them discounted in Australia before, but through Kogan as an international import and from Amazon in Japan, and in both cases the price has dropped to around the A$385 mark. However, they are shipped and sold directly from Amazon AU and are locally stocked. So if you've been waiting for a good price, now's your chance to pounce.
