Hamilton's Alena Sharp says she is done with her LPGA Tour season despite a torn meniscus in her left knee.

Sharp posted a photo on Instagram of herself smiling in her hospital bed.

The 44-year-old says she injured her knee “at some point in July.”

Beginning in August, she continued to play in five LPGA Tour events, including the CPKC Women's Open, Canada's national golf championship.

Sharp also competed in one Epson Tour event in August.

The three-time Olympic champion says the injury is no excuse for her disappointing results this season and she expects to play again in 2026.
