Donkey Kong Bananza Just Received Its Version 3.0.0 Update

Enjoy a smoother experience in Donkey Kong Bananza

Nintendo has released a new update for Donkey Kong Bananza on Switch 2, bringing the game to version 3.0.0. This is the first patch since October that focuses on accessibility options, camera controls, and general polish.

The most notable addition is support for the Thai language. Players who have set the Switch 2 system to Thai or English will now see in-game text in Thai, but voiceovers will remain in English. This update expands the game's features and makes it more accessible to a wider audience.

Version 3.0.0 also introduces a new camera option. Added an automatic camera tracking setting to the Options menu on the pause screen. Players can now toggle this feature on and off, allowing for greater control over camera behavior during exploration and combat. This change should appeal to players who prefer a more manual or controlled camera experience.

In addition to these additions, Nintendo has made several unspecified changes and fixes designed to improve the overall gameplay experience. While the company doesn't detail all the changes, these updates generally address minor bugs, performance issues, and balance tweaks.

For players who haven't yet tried Donkey Kong Bananza on Switch 2, a free demo is available on the eShop. Those looking for more details can also check out our full Nintendo Life review.
