Erling Haaland continues to perform better than a goal per game for Manchester City to overtake Cristiano Ronaldo in the Premier League's all-time top scorers list.
His latest victim was West Ham on Saturday.

The Norwegian striker has scored in every half and has scored 19 goals in 17 matches this campaign and also provided Tijani Reynders' strike in a 3-0 win at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
The victory moved City top of the table, one point ahead of Arsenal ahead of the dethroned leader's match with Everton later on Saturday.
Liverpool beat nine-man Tottenham 2-1 but lost record signing Alexander Isak to a left ankle injury suffered while scoring the opening goal.

Chelsea conceded two goals and drew 2–2 with Newcastle.
Haaland beats Ronaldo
Haaland has 38 goals in 28 matches for club and country, and this season promises to be the most productive of his career. Injury permitting, the season will end with him heading to his first World Cup with Norway.
His double gave him 104 Premier League goals, one more than Ronaldo, who made two appearances for Manchester United in 122 fewer games.
Haaland scored at the second attempt from Phil Foden's cross to give City the lead in the fifth minute and took advantage of West Ham's defensive confusion to make it 3-0 in the 69th minute.

In the interval, Haaland passed a short pass to Reynders, who touched the goal and fired a shot into the net in the 38th.
Isak is injured
Isak simply cannot rest at Liverpool.
The Swedish striker has struggled in his first few months as British football's record-breaking champion, joining Liverpool after training largely alone in the off-season. He was recently sidelined with a groin injury.
Coming on as a substitute against Tottenham, Isak scored after 11 minutes, but during the conversion his left ankle was injured by a kick from Tottenham's Mickey van de Ven and he was helped off the field.

By then, Tottenham were down to 10 men after Javi Simons was red carded for a foul on Virgil van Dijk, and Hugo Ekiteke doubled Liverpool's lead with a header.
Richarlison reduced Spurs' deficit in the 83rd and there was time for Cristian Romero to become the second home player to be sent off after Ibrahima Konate's strike.
Liverpool moved up to fifth place.

He scored an own goal last weekend to condemn Newcastle to derby defeat at the hands of bitter rivals Sunderland. Six days later, he scored twice in the first 20 minutes to give his side a fast start against Chelsea.
However, Chelsea recovered to draw 2-2, with Joao Pedro equalizing after a rare assist from the goalkeeper.
Robert Sanchez played a long pass to Pedro, who headed the ball forward and eventually collected it himself after Fabian Schar slipped. Pedro finished behind Newcastle goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale to earn Chelsea a point in the 66th.

“I wanted to put on a good performance today and I think I did that,” Woltemade said. “I just want to say thank you to the fans for still being nice to me.”
Reece James started Chelsea's comeback with a free kick off the post after the break.
Chelsea remain in fourth place and have won only one of their last five league games. Newcastle, one of England's representatives in the Champions League this season, are languishing in mid-table after winning just one in their last four games – against penultimate Burnley.

Still no wins
Bottom-placed Wolves remained winless and with just two points after losing 2-0 at home to Brentford.
The latest defeat meant Wolves equaled Sheffield United's 2020-21 record of 17 games without a win since the start of the Premier League season, while also losing a club-record 10 league matches in a row.
Keane Lewis-Potter scored both of Brentford's goals in the second half.
What is the seed worth?
Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo is reportedly a target of some of the Premier League's biggest teams, including Manchester City and Manchester United.

He underlined his value by scoring in his side's 1-1 draw with Burnley, which ended a seven-game losing streak after a difficult return to the top flight. Armando Broya equalized for Burnley in the 90th match.
Sunderland are feeling much better after promotion. A 0-0 draw at Brighton leaves the north-east side in sixth place.
Remaining games
There are two more games on Saturday: Everton v Arsenal and Leeds v Crystal Palace.
