Christmas 2025 celebrations have begun on the Epic Games Store and the Mystery Game feature is back. Over the next few days, the Epic Games Store will be making games available to you for free. Once activated, these games will be permanently added to your library.

How to Get Free Mystery Games from Epic Games 2025
The process for redeeming games is the same. However, each game offered will be available for a limited period of time. Hogwarts Legacy was offered on December 11th at 10:00 AM PT/12:00 PM CT, and the next game since then has been Jotun Slayer: Hordes of Hel.
Hogwarts Legacy was available until 8am PT/10am CT on December 18th. From now on, all games released as part of the freebies will be available for just 24 hours.
While the game is on offer, visit its store page. You will find that the purchase price is zero (instead of the listed price). Add it to your cart and confirm your order to continue adding the game to your account. You will then be able to download the game from your library. As mentioned, any products you add for free during the 2025 holiday will be permanently present in your library.
