Pete Davidson welcomes 1st child with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt – National

Pete Davidson and his girlfriend Elsie Hewitt officially became parents.

Saturday Night Live The alum and Hewitt welcomed their baby girl, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, on Dec. 12, they announced Thursday.

“Our perfect angel baby girl arrived December 12, 2025,” Hewitt, 29, captioned several photos of the new family. “My best work to date, I’m just overwhelmed with love, gratitude and disbelief.”

Hewitt added a short message from Davidson, 32, writing: “Wu Tang forever.”

Davidson's daughter's name appears to honor his late father, Scott Matthew Davidson, a New York City firefighter who died responding to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

The post included photos of Davidson and Hewitt with the child. The couple kept Scotty's face a secret by adding a white heart emoji to each photo.

“Who else has had their wisdom teeth removed in the hospital the day after giving birth,” Hewitt wrote in an Instagram post.

Davidson and Hewitt announced that they were waiting their first child together in July.

Hewitt confirmed the news in an Instagram post that included an image of a sonogram and a hilarious caption: “Okay, now everyone knows we had sex.”

Shortly after the couple announced the news, Davidson told E! News he felt “very lucky and very, very happy” to be a father. He also noted that he wanted to “take care of something and show it the childhood I didn't have.”

“I guess you're just trying to give them something you didn't have,” he added.

According to People, the couple has been living together for several months in Davidson's native New York.

“They split their time between Pete's home in upstate New York and a brownstone they recently started renting in Brooklyn,” a source told the publication in May. “They are so happy together and doing great.”

The baby news comes two months after the couple made their red carpet debut at the 13th Annual Flower Ball at the Pierre Hotel in New York.

“My favorite thing that I haven’t achieved yet is that I want to have a baby,” Davidson said.

“It’s very corny, but it would be so fun to dress up a little dude.

“I’m so excited about this chapter, so that’s what I’m just preparing for right now: trying to be a good dude and develop and get better, so when that happens, it’ll just be easier.”
