Cleveland Browns Highly Touted 2025 NFL Draft had only two standout offensive players ball with hope coming from RB Dylan Sampson. There's still a chance that QB Sheader Sanders could help put class firstbut inconsistency means that the team more likely to draft a quarterback V 2026 NFL Draft Top Player than to roll with him, moving forward.
While Harold Fannin Jr. as the season progressed he only increased his productivity, RB Quinshawn Judkins was a victim of poor offensive line play and the defense's lack of concern for the Browns passing attack. His raw numbers (805 yards, 7 touchdowns) are good for a rookie, but his yards per attempt average has dropped to 3.6 and his game logs show a problematic trend:

-
Week 6: 12 carries, 36 yards
-
Week 8: 9 carries, 19 yards
-
Week 11: 17 carries, 59 yards
-
Week 12: 16 carries, 47 yards (only win in this group of games)
-
Week 14: 14 carries, 26 yards
-
Week 15: 12 carries, 21 yards.
The three weeks missing from these game logs are 70 carries and 250 yards, which is still a 3.5 yards per carry average.
The expanded data is even more stunning:
At one point, Judkins was directly involved in the offensive rookie of the year conversation. Now, he was passed by Fannin and former Ohio State Buckeyes teammate TreVeyon Henderson in chances of winning. Seventh round RB pick Kyle Monangai has the same chances as Judkins.
One of the best parts of football is how 11 guys work together and influence each other. This is why evaluating individual players is sometimes very complex and requires a lot of nuance. Is Judkins on track to be next? Nick Chubb? Perhaps, but it’s very difficult to know for sure from the play of those around you in attack.

Browns fans debate the team should draft a quarterback or focus on building an offensive line and receiver groups around him. For Judkins' sake, I hope the answer is all of the above, otherwise Sanders will be great in the final three games of the season.
Are you surprised by the numbers above? How do you rate Judkins' performance given the struggles surrounding him?
