Pittsburgh Steelers picked up a second straight win on Monday night.
Aaron Rodgers finished the night with just four incomplete passes in a 28–15 win, also mathematically eliminated by Miami Dolphins out of the fight for the playoffs.
The game also marked a reunion of sorts for Rogers.
Zach Wilson, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, spent one season behind Rodgers on the New York Jets' depth chart. Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos in 2024 and signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins in the offseason.

Wilson and Rodgers briefly reunited after Monday night's game. At that point, Wilson wished the Super Bowl winner well on his recent marriage to his as-yet-unknown fiancée.
“Congratulations on your wedding,” Wilson told Rodgers on the Steelers' home field. In June, Rogers said he had been married for “a couple of months.”
In the time since this shocking announcement, Rogers' wife has not appeared in the public spotlight. Before the union was announced earlier this year, Rogers was engaged to actress Shailene Woodley.

Wilson's tenure as the Jets' backup quarterback in 2023 was short-lived. Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury in just the fourth game of his regular-season debut with the Jets. Wilson was restored to the starting role he held during his first two tumultuous seasons with the team.
Wilson ultimately played 12 games in 2023, and the Jets finished that season with a 7-10 record.
