OnePlus has officially unveiled a trio of new products after teasing all three for a couple of months now. Chief among them is the OnePlus 15R with its huge battery, and it is among the new affordable tablets and smartwatches.
Let's start with the OnePlus 15R, the star of the show with a 7,400mAh battery, which is 100mAh larger than the already huge power bank found in its flagship brother. OnePlus 15.
This phone can easily last two days on a charge, so we expect the same stellar performance from the 15R – although you'll have to wait for our full review to find out if the massive battery can deliver the longevity we're hoping for.
The 15R is a more affordable variant of the company's flagship offering, featuring a 6.83-inch 1.5K Full HD+ display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and a choice of 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.
One of the minor complaints about the predecessor 15R is the excellent OnePlus 13R (no entry with number 14), there was slow charging, and the good news is that OnePlus has solved this problem with 80W SUPERVOOC charging (vs 55W on the 13R). OnePlus claims the faster charging speed will allow you to go from 1% to 100% charge in less than 60 minutes.
On the back, you'll find a dual camera system: a 50-megapixel Sony main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The OnePlus 15R also comes with a host of photography features, including the company's Clear Night Engine for low-light photography, as well as Ultra Clear and Clear Burst modes for high-quality shots and less blur. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera.
And for those who want a rugged phone, the 15R boasts the brand's highest ever dust and water resistance rating with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K certifications. This means this phone can withstand water jets, water jets up to 176°F, and submersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
The OnePlus 15R runs the company's OxygenOS 16 UI on top of Android, and also comes with a commitment to four years of software updates and six years of security updates. It's not the best on the market in terms of software support duration, but it provides reasonable peace of mind for those who want to use the 15R for a long time.
And of course, this is not a new phone for 2025 without mentioning artificial intelligence. The 15R retains the brand's recently introduced Plus Key button on the left, as well as the OnePlus Plus Mind AI storage area and Mind Space – a place to find all your phone's memories.
The OnePlus 15R starts at $699.99 for the 12GB+256GB configuration, while the 512GB model will set you back $799.99 and is only available in Jet Black color scheme. Compared to the 13R, these prices increase by $100 between generations, so while the 15R still gives you a lot for your money, it doesn't seem to be that much of a bargain.
The OnePlus 15R is available in two colors: Jet Black and Mint Breeze. pre-orders are already open The phone will officially go on sale on January 8th on Amazon, Best Buy and OnePlus.com.
But if you need long battery life at a much lower price, you might want to give it a try recently announced Moto G Power 2026which is half the price of the 15R but still gets 49 hours of battery life on a single charge, although it doesn't have the same level of performance or cameras.
There is also a tablet and a watch

Meanwhile, OnePlus Pad Go 2 is the company's latest affordable tablet and comes under the premium category. OnePlus Pad 3. OnePlus says this new tablet is designed more for streaming at home than work, but it does support a stylus.
While it may be the cheaper option on the stable version of the OnePlus tablet, you still get a large 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2800 x 1980 resolution, Dolby Vision support, and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
There's also a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset, 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, a 10,050mAh battery, 33W SUPERVOOC charging and four speakers housed in a 6.83mm thick frame that weighs 597g (599g for the Wi-Fi + 5G variant).
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 starts at $399 for the 128GB Wi-Fi-only variant. That's $50 more than Apple's base iPad, but the Pad Go 2 has a larger display.
It will be available in two colors: Black Shadow and Lavender Drift. Pre-orders open today, December 17th, and the on-sale date is December 26th.
The OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2 will be sold in North America, but the company's third new product will not be available in the region.
The OnePlus Watch Lite will only be available in Europe and boasts a battery that will last up to seven days with heavy use (or 4-5 days with the Always-On Display feature enabled).
It's one of the thinnest smartwatches available, measuring 8.9mm thick, weighing 39g, and boasting a 1.39-inch screen with an ultra-bright 3,000-nit display covered in durable glass crystal.
If you want a smartwatch from a North American brand, your only option is still a very good one. OnePlus Watch 3.
