There will be a new video game concert in Toronto and Montreal next year. It's called Heroes: A Symphony of Video Games, and it's produced by JMP Entertainment, the company behind the gaming concert The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, as well as National Geographic's Symphony for Our World.
Heroes: A Video Game Symphony will feature music from a variety of games, including Metal Gear Solid, Halo, Portal, Fall out, Castlevania and a Canadian-produced series Mass Effect And Age of the Dragon. Akira Yamaoka, famous composer silent Hill series, will also be present at the Toronto show and take part in paid meet and greets.
Montreal show will take place on May 20, 2026 at 19:30 on Arts Square. Show in Toronto will take place on September 17, 2026 at Sobeys Stadium.
It's the latest in a growing line of video game concerts in Canada. In recent years we have seen the likes of Final Fantasy VII, Sonic the Hedgehog And Stardew Valley shows are held here, as well as shows with music from a wide variety of works, such as Game on! Several more concerts have been confirmed for next year, including the next version of Distant Worlds: Final Fantasy will be released in January And Death Stranding: Threads of Harmony in March.
