The inhabitants of Sanctuary face a difficult life. Diablo 4but players can make things a little brighter with the upcoming Goblin Greedings holiday event. Starting December 18th, players will be able to place gifts under their tree, so to speak, slaying creatures for loot and bringing some hope back to Estuary.
To claim their prizes, players will have to battle hordes of Treasure Goblins and earn their place on the Goblin March reputation board. There are multiple levels that can be unlocked, and players can claim their prizes in between each one by visiting the Goblin Square in Kiowashada. Once players complete the last level, they will receive a Magnificent Spark. This final level is repeatable and the quality of loot dropped by enemies will increase with each level. However, players will only have until January 6, 2026 to complete the game and claim as much treasure as possible.
The return of Grim Mercy during Goblin's Greed will also give players an additional stash for Gift of the Tree. All they have to do to get this treasure is to choose a cache that contains the treasure given to them by the Gift of the Tree.
In addition, several free holiday items will appear in the in-game store on certain dates:
- December 18: Tackle of the first snow (Mount Trophy)
- December 19: Collateral (Trophy Mountain)
- December 20: Rogue of the first snow (Mount Bronya)
Like other treasures, these items will disappear after January 6th.
Out of the Game, a prequel to next year's game Lord of Hate ExpansionDiablo 4: Lost Horadrim, already available for pre-order. Pre-ordering the expansion itself gives players early access to Paladinsone of the latest classes added to the game. The expansion also brings back a fan-favorite villain, Lilith.
