“I may be sidelined, but I am not defeated. This injury is my greatest challenge—a moment God has allowed to strengthen my testimony,” he wrote on X. “I believe He is walking with me through this storm and chose me for this fight because He knew my heart could handle it.

“I am deeply grateful to the Packers organization and my teammates for their unwavering support, love and belief in me this season. I trust His timing, His plan and His purpose. I will rise again.”

Parsons is injured as he tried to make adjustments on the run to take on Broncos quarterback Bo Nix. A replay of the injury showed Parsons' knee giving way and him falling over in pain.

“I feel sick,” he told The Associated Press on Sunday night.

The Packers lost to the Broncos 34-26 and trailed the Chicago Bears at the half for the lead in the NFC North.

Green Bay acquired Parsons in a lucrative deal with Dallas Cowboys right before the start of the season. The Packers and Parsons have agreed to a four-year contract extension that is reportedly worth $186 million.

Parsons' injury will certainly derail the Packers' Super Bowl hopes. Green Bay will play a playoff game against Chicago for first place on Saturday.

“We all know the type of player he is and the impact he has had on our football team, and losing someone like that is tough,” Packers coach Matt LaFleur said. “Like I said, no one will feel sorry for us. We have to find a way and the guys have to rally around each other.”
