In a shocking video, a brush is set on fire near the asphalt

A United Airlines plane was forced to quickly turn around when its engine shut down…and bushes near the runway caught fire.
Flight UA 803 took off from Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C., around 12:20 p.m. ET on Saturday … when it “ignited bushes around the runway” as it left the airport, a Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority spokesman said. People.
Social media video captured a brush on fire shortly after Flight 803 took off for Japan… and showed plumes of smoke billowing up nearly the entire length of the runway.
According to an MWAA spokesperson… “The fire was extinguished and the flight returned to Dulles, landing safely at approximately 1:30 p.m. when it was cleared by airport fire officials.”
Transport Secretary Sean Duffy provided further clarity X hours after the incident… showing that the engine cover separated from the aircraft and caught fire – before landing in the bush.
Duffy says none of the 275 passengers and 15 crew members were injured in the incident… before thanking first responders for their quick response.
