ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Sayla Swords and Ashley Sofilkanich each scored 17 points and led five Michigan players in double figures, and the sixth-ranked Wolverines beat Akron 85-59 on Saturday.
Michigan (9-1) pulled away for good early in the second quarter, helped by its defense. In the first half, the Wolverines committed 16 turnovers and scored 17 points. Michigan's 25.4 turnovers per game average ranks eighth nationally and first in the Big Ten.
Shaena Brew led the Zips (1-8) with 13 points on 5-for-8 shooting, adding four rebounds and five assists.
The Wolverines led 48-30 at halftime, shooting nearly 50% from the floor. Kendall Dudley hit a 3-pointer from the corner late in the first half to extend Michigan's lead to 20 heading into halftime.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Reagan Beers had 22 points and 12 rebounds and Oklahoma won its 10th straight with a sweep of Oklahoma State.
Sahara Williams scored 18 points and Aliyah Chavez and Zia Vann each added 15 for the Sooners (11-1), who won their seventh straight in the series. The in-state rivals played annually before Oklahoma left the Big 12 for the Southeastern Conference before last season.
Oklahoma shot 51.3% from the field and scored at least 90 points for the eighth straight game. All five Sooners players scored in double figures.
Micah Gray scored 22 points and Jadyn Wooten added 15 for the Cowgirls (10-2), who have won five straight. Oklahoma State shot just 37.8% from the field and 28.1% from 3-point range.

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Hannah Stuelke scored a season-high 29 points as Iowa defeated Lindenwood.
The Hawkeyes (10-1, 1-0 Big Ten) reached the century mark for the third time this season and trailed by just over one minute of playing time. They took the lead for good on Chazadi Wright's 3-pointer at 3:31 of regulation that started a 13-2 run.
Iowa led 50-34 at the half, with Stuehlke scoring 17 points.
Ava Hayden (14 points), Layla Hayes (11) and Journee Houston (10) scored in double figures for Iowa. Hayes, Houston and Stuelke each had six rebounds, while Taylor McCabe led the team with seven assists.
NO. 17 MISSISSIPPI 86, WOFFORD 52
OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Coty McMahon scored 24 points and Latasha Lattimore added 18 as Mississippi State rolled past Wofford.
McMahon has scored 20 or more points in five of her first 10 games of the season and has scored in double figures in every contest so far.
Lattimore and McMahon each grabbed 11 rebounds. Sira Tienou led the way with 12 rebounds and Ole Miss dominated the boards, 53-27.
The Rebels (9-1) took the lead 21 seconds into the game on McMahon's layup and stayed close the rest of the game. They led 41–24 at halftime.
NO. 20 WASHINGTON 79, GREEN BAY 74
SEATTLE (AP) — Cyvia Sellers matched her career-high 30 points and Washington overcame an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat Green Bay.
Washington trailed 67-56 after Green Bay scored its first goal of the fourth quarter, but the Huskies outscored their visitors 23-7 the rest of the way.
Sellers scored 30 points for the fourth time in her career and made a career-high seven 3-pointers. The last of her 3-pointers gave Washington a 71-70 lead with 6 1/2 minutes left, and the Huskies held Green Bay to within four points.
Avery Howell had 11 points and 12 rebounds for Washington (9-1). El Ladin added 11 points and Yulia Grabovskaya had 10. Sellers accounted for seven of Washington's 14 turnovers. The Huskies made 14 of 29 3-pointers.
Jenna Guyer scored 19 points, Maddie Skorupski had 14 and Carly Daffney and Megan Schultz each had 13 points for Green Bay (8-4).
