Important news arrived on Thursday. Game Awards show, and among new games presented there were two new Tomb Raiders. Lara Croft returns with a new journey, as well as a remake of her first adventure. Both games were announced in preparation for the series to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026.

What is Tomb Raider: Catalyst?
Catalyst is the 12th Tomb Raider game and takes Lara to Northern India where she competes with other treasure hunters in search of the secrets of a lost ancient world. Footage from the trailer shows one of her rivals, whose men are quickly killed by Lara before she is forced to flee the ruins that are about to be destroyed.
In this adventure, Lara will have to use some new technology, such as a wrist-grip strap. Catalyst is also bringing back its iconic dual pistols.
Tomb Raider Catalyst will be released in 2027 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
What is Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis?
Legacy of Atlantis is a remake of the very first Tomb Raider game. Like the original, which first released in 1996, players will travel to Peru, Greece, Egypt and a mysterious Mediterranean island. She tracks down the parts of the Heir, who has incredible power.
The remake modernizes the original with high-definition graphics, modern controls and other optimizations.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will be released next year on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
