Igor Jesus came on in the 86th minute and still managed to score Nottingham Forest's winning goal in their 2-1 Europa League win over Utrecht.
The striker scored his fourth goal of the season two minutes later after Utrecht goalkeeper Vasilis Barkas failed to save Dan Ndoye's header.
Arnaud Calimuendo gave Forest the lead early in the second half before Mike van der Hoorn equalized with a header.
Forest remain unbeaten in the second division with three wins and a draw since Sean Dyche replaced Ange Postecoglou as manager.
In other opening games, Real Betis remained unbeaten after beating Dinamo Zagreb 3-1.
Young Boys missed a penalty but still won 1-0 against Lille, who played for an hour with 10 men after Ayoub Bouaddi's red card.

Midtjylland continues to impress
Danish side Midtjylland temporarily top the Europa League with 15 points after six games, beating Genk 1-0. Cho Gye-sung scored a goal for the hosts.

No win for Rangers, no points for Nice
Barnabas Varga headed in the winning goal to complete Ferencvaros' 2-1 comeback win over Scotland's Rangers to remain unbeaten with four wins and two draws.
An acrobatic volley from striker Bojan Miovski gave Rangers a 1-0 lead before Bence Otvos equalized in first-half stoppage time for the hosts, who are coached by former Celtic player Robbie Keane.
Rangers remain winless in the league.
Nice remain the only Europa League team without a point after Pau Victor's 1-0 home defeat to Braga. It was Nice's eighth defeat in a row in all competitions.
