The couple appeared flirty and close while promoting their film this summer. Naked gun. Some reports claimed that they were actually in a relationship, while others suggested that it was for publicity sake (that Pamela rejected).
Now Pamela is setting the record straight within her People cover story. She said: “If you're wondering, Liam and I were romantically involved for a while, but only after we finished filming.”
This “short” post-shooting period (approx. June 2024) included an “intimate week” at his upstate home. New Yorkwhere, she said, she had her own room and “even the family came in.” Not only did they garden together, she said, but they also “went to dinner at a tiny French restaurant where he introduced me as 'the future Mrs. Neeson.'
However, after their “romantic lost week”, Pamela said: “We went our separate ways, working on other films.” They reunited this summer while promoting the film, where they “had fun.” Pam added: “I always laughed when people thought, 'Oh, it's a publicity stunt.' I was like, “Publicity stunt?” This is real. We have real feelings.”
Alas, the last time the couple saw each other was in August, when Liam supported Pamela in her play. “I adore Liam,” she said, “but honestly, we're best friends. He's very supportive of this new career path for me and kindly tells me he's very proud of me.”
