Becky G gives her fans a real and personal look at her life on and off stage in Rebecca.
The singer's documentary, named after her, premiered earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival and is now heading to theaters for a two-day event.
“Rebecca” follows Becky, whose name is Rebecca Gomez, as she prepares for her first headlining tour and her journey to create her first Mexican music album “Corners”. The singer previously announced the album and her Excursion “My home, your home” during her Aug 25, 2023 · Speech TODAY.
“This film is not about perfection,” Becky said in a press release. “It's about becoming. Rebecca was made at a time of personal transition, when the questions were still louder than the answers. It's raw, it's real and it's healing.”

What is Rebecca about?
In addition to following Becky as she works on her third studio album and goes on tour, “Rebecca” also chronicles her upbringing in Inglewood, California, as well as the heartache she has experienced in her life.
The documentary features “Becky's powerful journey through loss, love, pain and healing – all set against the backdrop of the most ambitious and risky year of her career to date,” the synopsis reads.
Fans can expect to hear more from Becky about her childhood, how she got started in the industry, her parents' divorce, how her grandparents influenced her to record a regional Mexican album, and more.
When will Rebecca be released?
“Rebecca” will be released in cinemas for two nights only – December 10th and 13th.
