Try before you buy Yooka-Replaylee
Publisher PM Studios and developer Playtonic Games released Yuka-Replaylee demo on Nintendo Switch 2, giving players the ability to smoothly slide, roll and tongue slide in an adventure. Progress made in the demo carries over into the full game, making it a useful way to start exploring. In parallel with the demo version, the studio began the final ten-day countdown to the release of the physical retail version. This version includes the full game, a collectible map poster, and a character sticker pack. The official release will take place on December 18, 2025, and pre-orders are currently open.
To celebrate the game's good reception and upcoming retail launch, Playtonic Games and PM Studios have also released a new Accolade Trailer. This highlights the praise the title has received in media around the world.

Yooka-Replaylee is a remastered and improved version of the beloved 3D platformer collection Yooka-Laylee, created by key developers known for their work on Banjo-Kazooie And Donkey Kong Country. The new release features updated challenges, updated favorites, and expanded open spaces to explore with the duo Yuka and Layli. The game also features a larger map, a new currency system and various customization options, as well as an orchestral soundtrack. The result is a seamless experience that introduces a couple of friends with enhanced movements, visuals and sound.
