This is actually shocking.
Watching Hollywood celebrities walk the red carpet at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia reveals their lack of education.
There's actually Page Six video coverage of the red carpet. You can see it below.
Here's an excerpt: “In several cases, the government has failed to punish officials accused of human rights abuses, contributing to a climate of impunity. Following the high-profile murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Turkey in October 2018, a court on December 23 sentenced five officials to death and three officials to prison terms. The court ruled that guilt could not be established in the case of the other three defendants.”
The need for flattery is so pathetic. If any of these celebrities had landed in Riyadh for an hour as an ordinary tourist, they would have been arrested, or even chopped into salad.
The locals they talk to on the red carpet have no rights. The Red Sea Festival is not held independently of the royal family. If these actors think so, then in fact they are even more ignorant than we imagined.
More to come. We are waiting for the arrival of UN Ambassador Angelina Jolie!

Showbiz411 has been providing the latest and exclusive entertainment news for the past 13 years. This is an independent site, unlike many Hollywood trades that are owned by a single company. To continue to provide news that gives new insight into what's happening in film, music, theater and more, advertising is our backbone. Reader donations would also be greatly appreciated.
