The fourth quarter was tense as it started with Green Bay leading 21-14. That was until the Bears ran out the clock at 8:32, going 17 plays and 83 yards, and saw rookie tight end Colston Loveland find the end zone on a great call from head coach Ben Johnson as Williams came into the game and found his man.
With the game tied at 21, Jordan Love and the Packers offense wanted to respond, and that's exactly what they did.
CHAPTER WEEK 14 2025 NFL: JADEN DANIELS COMMANDERS, JADEN REED BACK PACKERS
Love orchestrated an eight-play run in which veteran running back Josh Jacobs played a vital role in getting the ball down the field, including a 21-yard run on third-and-2 from the Chicago 28-yard line. A few plays later, Jacobs burst through the line of scrimmage into the end zone for a 28-21 lead after the extra point was good.
Williams and the Bears still had plenty of time to take the field themselves and potentially tie the game or win the game. Things looked promising on the first play when rookie Luther Bearden III caught a 27-yard pass and immediately entered Green Bay territory. Then Williams, scrambling to his right, found Devin Duvernay for his second catch of the year, a 24-yard strike that put the Bears just outside the red zone.

Bears were trying to just get a first down when Kyle Monangai ran it in with 35 seconds left on third-and-1, but he was stuffed and forced to go for fourth down. That's when Williams tried to get into the end zone instead of just going for the first down and was late to meet Cole Kmet.
Kmet had space but the ball was dropped and Nixon was there to make the difference.
This was truly a battle between two of the best teams in the NFC, not to mention their own division. But Love threw three touchdowns in this game, two of which went to the game's leading receiver Christian Watson, who had just four catches for 89 yards.
There was also a great play near the end of the first half when dual-threat Beau Melton broke free for a 45-yard touchdown. The Packers also returned Jaden Reed to their wide receiver corps, who had four catches for 31 yards.
