Cincinnati Bengals 34–39 Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills (9-4) rallied from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Cincinnati Bengals (4-9). Josh Allen threw for three touchdowns and ran for one, and Christian Benford had the go-ahead 63-yard interception return. Allen's 40-yard leap broke his record for the longest by a Bills quarterback. Buffalo turned the game around by playing defense on a snow day. Benford and cornerback AJ Epenesa intercepted Joe Burrow on consecutive plays from scrimmage, leading the Bills to score three touchdowns in a 4:20 span of the fourth quarter.
Pittsburgh Steelers 27–22 Baltimore Ravens
Aaron Rodgers threw for 284 yards and a touchdown and even ran for a TD in perhaps his best game against the Steelers, and Pittsburgh (7-6) took sole possession of first place in the AFC North by holding on for a win over the Ravens (6-7) when Baltimore's touchdown with 2:43 left was overturned by a replay review. Isaiah Likely secured Lamar Jackson's pass in the end zone with both hands and both his feet went down, but just as he was about to take another step with his right foot, Joey Porter Jr. knocked the ball away. It was originally called a touchdown, but was later changed to an incomplete. The Ravens eventually turned the ball over on downs.
Indianapolis Colts 19–36 Jacksonville Jaguars
Trevor Lawrence threw two touchdown passes and Travis Etienne rushed for two others to lead the Jacksonville Jaguars to a convincing victory in the AFC South decider. Lawrence completed 17 of 30 passes for 244 yards. Brian Thomas Jr. caught three passes for 87 yards and Tim Patrick had 78 yards and a touchdown on five catches. Jacksonville (9-4) won its fourth straight game to take sole possession of first place in the AFC South. Indianapolis (8-5) lost starting guard Daniel Jones to an Achilles injury late in the first quarter. The offense continued to move the ball sporadically with their backup, rookie Riley Leonard, but struggled to complete passes.
New Orleans Saints 24-20 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The New Orleans Saints upset the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, tightening the NFC South race. Rookie quarterback Tyler Shaw threw two touchdown passes for lowly New Orleans, which improved to 3-10. The Saints were 8.5 point underdogs. They upset Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers with a sloppy game, mostly played during a storm. The four-time defending division champion Bucs fell to 7-6. They lost for the fourth time in five games and are tied for first place with Carolina. The Bucs and Panthers have met twice in the last three games.
Seattle Seahawks 37–9 Atlanta Falcons
Rashid Shahid returned a second-half punt 100 yards for a touchdown, the Seattle defense committed three turnovers and the Seahawks beat the hapless Atlanta Falcons. Seattle improved to 10-3 and has its sights set on a division title and maybe even first place in January. Sam Darnold threw for 249 yards and three touchdowns, including a pair of scores to Jackson Smith-Njigbe. The Seahawks pulled away from a 6-6 tie at halftime, outscoring the Falcons by 31 points in the final two quarters. The Falcons fell to 4–9 and were officially eliminated from playoff contention.
Tennessee Titans 31-29 Cleveland Browns
Cam Ward threw for two touchdowns and Tony Pollard threw for two touchdowns as the Tennessee Titans ended a seven-game losing streak. The Titans kept Cleveland (3-10) out of the end zone in the second half until the Browns tallied two touchdowns in the final minutes — and followed both failed two-point conversion attempts — to create drama between a pair of struggling teams. Sheder Sanders threw seven yards to Harold Fannin II for a touchdown with 1:03 to play, but the two-point pass fell short. Pollard rushed for 161 yards on 25 carries and the Titans (2-11) won despite producing just 292 yards of total offense. Tennessee scored its most points of the season. Ward was 14 of 28 for 117 yards and had an early interception.
Washington Commanders 0–31 Minnesota Vikings
JJ McCarthy threw three scoring touchdown passes in his first game without a turnover, returning from his most recent injury absence in top form for the Minnesota Vikings to deliver a win that sent the Washington Commanders to their eighth straight loss. McCarthy went 16 of 23 for 163 yards in his seventh game. NFL start off. He left the game last week with a concussion, and the Vikings were eliminated for the first time in 18 years. McCarthy scored all three goals, two to Josh Oliver and one to TJ Hockenson. Vikings 5-8. Commanders 3-10.
Miami Dolphins 34–10 New York Jets
Tua Tagovailoa remained undefeated against the New York Jets, leading the Miami Dolphins (6-7) to victory over their AFC East rivals. With the win, Tagovailoa improved to 7-0 against the Jets (3-10) as a starter. The Dolphins have won five of their last six games. De'Von Achane ran for 92 yards and a touchdown before leaving with a rib injury. Jaylen Wright stepped in with a career-high 107 yards. The Jets, now eliminated from playoff contention, saw rookie quarterback Brady Cook make his NFL debut after Tyrod Taylor left the team with a groin injury. Miami's defense and special teams also played key roles in the victory.
