For the first time in my life, brand The channel cooperates with Walt Disney World for a new original film. “Holiday Ever After: Disney World Wishes Come True” will be filmed at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and directed by Lacey Chabert and Travis Van Winkle. Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Teigen Burns and Usher Alexander also star, with Patrick Renna making a cameo appearance.
The film was announced during Saturday's “The Christmas Experience: A Hometown Holiday,” which aired after Chabert's new film, “She's Making a List.” The Disney co-production, written and directed by Ryan Landels, will air during the 17th annual Countdown to Christmas in 2026.
Here's the official logline for Holiday Ever After: “Lindsay (Chabert) and her extended family head to Walt Disney World for a magical Christmas together. But the dream of a fun vacation is quickly dashed when Lindsay discovers that her room is next door to Philip (Van Winkle), a failed first date she recently went on, who is also there on a family trip. As Lindsay and Phillip's paths cross throughout their stay, the frost begins to melt as they discover that they are not so different from each other after all. Thanks to some Walt Disney World magic, Lindsay's holiday wish at Cinderella's Fountain could turn their rivalry into romance.
“The history between Hallmark and Disney goes back decades, as shared connections in Kansas City and the friendship between Hallmark founder J.C. Hall and Walt Disney himself led to our first licensed products, including the very first Mickey Mouse greeting card,” said Darren Abbott, Chief Brand Officer, Hallmark. “We are thrilled to expand our partnership beyond the products we create together and onto the screen with this heartfelt and joyful Christmas film that embodies the best of both brands.”
Sally Conner, Disney's Vice President of Global Content adds, “Storytelling is at the core of both Disney and Hallmark, and that magic shines even brighter during the holidays. We're thrilled that Walt Disney World will serve as an exciting home for a Hallmark holiday movie highlighting the fun of the season. At our theme parks, resorts and beyond, countless unique stories unfold every day and new memories are created for our guests. This film is a wonderful way to share that joy and magic.” dust with fans around the world.”
In the near future, Hallmark and Disney will release an exclusive collection of merchandise inspired by the film, including greeting cards, jewelry, gifts and gift wrap, available next holiday season.
