Boys The next season, based on the first trailer for the fifth season of Prime Video's ultra-violent satirical superhero saga, is coming to an end. Boys will be out with a bang when it returns next April.
First trailer for Boys The fifth season was unveiled on Saturday at CCXP 2025 in Brazil. In it, we see some of our heroes being held captive in the “freedom camp” of their relatives, while Annie tries to organize resistance against the super-powerful oppressors of the world. Butcher, armed with a virus that kills superheroes, tries to rally the troops, “at any cost,” he says. Mother's Milk accurately assesses its chances in the trailer, saying: “We won't survive this fucking war. We are the walking dead.” Sounds potentially very bad!
Season 4 Boys definitely changed the stakes: newly installed United States President Steve Calhoun swore allegiance to Homelander, declared martial law, and tasked an army of soups with maintaining order. Many of the Boys – such as Hughie, Kimiko, Frenchie – were captured by Homelander's forces, while Annie (also known as Starlight) and Butcher remained at large, the latter possessing a virus that could wipe out Supes around the world. Plus, we never found out what happened to Ashley after she took Compound V when Homelander started cleaning out Vought's headquarters… but apparently she's now President Calhoun's press secretary?
Returning in Season 5 Boys Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie Campbell, Antony Starr as Homelander, Erin Moriarty as Annie January/Starlight, Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, Laz Alonso as MM, Chace Crawford as The Deep, Tomer Capone as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko Miyashiro, Nathan Mitchell as Black Noira, Colby Minifie as Ashley Barrett, Cameron Crovetti as Ryan Butcher, Susan Hayward as Sister Sage, Valorie Curry as Firecracker, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Joe Kessler and Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy. New to the cast are Daveed Diggs and Eccles supernatural co-stars Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins in unannounced roles.
Boys The fifth and final season will begin streaming on Prime Video on April 8, 2026 with a two-episode premiere. New episodes will air weekly, with the series finale airing on May 20, 2026.
And bye Boys is coming to an end, don't worry, there's more to come in The Boys universe. A new prequel series has appeared. Vought-Risingset in the 1950s and focusing on Soldier Boy and Stormfront, as well as the in-development Boys: Mexicofrom executive producers Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal.
