Battlefield 6 introduced the Winter Offensive in update 1.1.3.0, transforming familiar battlefields into a harsh, frozen warzone. The highlight of this update is Ice Lock Empire State, a limited-time reimagining of the Empire State map. The streets are now frozen, the environment feels colder and more dangerous, and the entire setting forces players to adapt to changing winter conditions.
This seasonal map comes with its own themed event mode. The Supremacy, Conquest, and Gauntlet missions return with new variations based on the freeze mechanic, adding an extra layer of challenge as players navigate icy terrain and unpredictable weather. Completing the Winter Offensive bonus path gives you access to an ice climbing axe. The event reward path consists of eleven tiers filled with limited-time cosmetic items and experience boosters, ensuring constant progression throughout the duration of the event.
