Enter the arena in Infinity: Hexadome Tactics
Blindspot Games and Polden Publishing have announced that the Infinity: Hexadome Tactics demo will be available on Steam on December 10th. It features a 1v1 multiplayer turn-based tactical strategy game inspired by the core ideas of the board game Aristeia and set in the wider Infinity universe. The demo offers an early look at how its systems work in a sci-fi world filled with competitive combat, changing arena layouts, and a growing cast of characters.
Players will be able to try out four different champions, drawn from a much larger roster planned for the full release. Each champion has different abilities and playstyles, encouraging experimentation and thoughtful planning. Each match is built on fast decision making, tension and changing battle conditions. Arenas include elements that react to the player's actions, while cover elements and tactical maps affect the rhythm of each turn. This mechanic creates an environment where positioning, anticipation, and timing matter from the first move to the final exchange.
Hexadome Tactics will be released in 2026, and the developers are shaping it with long-term community input. The team intends to improve this experience through ongoing playtests and regular feedback. The demo provides an early opportunity to explore the game's multi-level system, learn how champions interact, and participate in development.
Key features include competitive 1v1 turn-based combat, a deep system inspired by Aristeia and the Infinity universe. It also features four demo champions that showcase a larger roster, quick matches formed through tactical maps and interactive arenas, and a development process influenced by player input. The demo offers the first step towards a tactical experience that will evolve through ongoing community participation.
